Monday was our first day of classes. In the morning students had orientation and took their oral and written placement exams. Then they had their first morning language class and in the afternoon they went to their elective class (either conversation and culture, or photography).

We are lucky to be in Spain during the 2012 EUFA European Football Championship! Soccer, or fútbol, is THE sport to watch in Spain and it is very important to Spanish culture.
Monday evening we went out to dinner as a group and watched the Spain vs. Croatia game together. Spain won! Now they continue on to the quarter finals.
